NHS 'deep clean' announced Health Secretary Alan Johnson has announced that all NHS hospitals in England are to undergo a deep clean. The Health Secretary told the House of Commons that âo[base "] as part of a range of measures to tackle healthcare associated infections âo[base "] NHS Trusts will have to submit detailed deep clean plans, including costs, to their Primary Care Trusts and Strategic Health Authorities (SHAs).
